It’s been over 20 years since I was an artist and animator in the video game industry and did art on the computer. I’ve been re-learning digital art since I’ve been stuck in doors during this Covid pandemic, and this is a charcoal piece I just did in Procreate. This piece was made only by using sharpies and then red paint. I was inspired by Julia Hill`s beautiful work to create this.

This was just an idea I had and wanted to make it as soon as possible.

Unfinished value study for a painting, worked in graphite on hot pressed watercolor paper. Drafted and rendered using the Bargue method. Hopefully, I got the photo oriented correctly so that the drawing will be right side up, once I upload it! If anyone has advice for photographing a heavy application of graphite, without getting weird reflectiveness, or speckled effects, I’m very interested!

Watch out for puddles with eyes in them

This is one of the first digital art peices I have done that I actually like. I have never attempted to draw the hair in braids so my digital art isn't always bad. Make sure to subscribe to my YT and follow me :) If you are interested I used ibispaint X for this the app is totally free and amazing although it is hard to get the hang of at the start.

I painted Van Gogh's irises on my kithen cupboard door. We needed to put a door on the space where the microwave used to sit but we couldn't get one to match the rest of the cupboards so we got a piece of board and I painted it with acrylic paints and varnished it.
