This drawing, with a bit of watercolour, was done years ago in North Vancouver during a figure drawing session. Probably 15 - 20 minutes. Watercolour, subtly employed, can have wonderful affects. The challenge of working fast forced me to ditch excess thinking. And it's funny, because at first I thought, "Oh, this is terrible." Then the next day, with fresh eyes, or checking out the drawing in a mirror, I think, "Wow! How did I not see how good this is?" Never throw out your artwork immediately after a drawing session. Give them a few days and look at your work with fresh eyes.
I was expirimenting with lighting, and it kind of ended up looking like she was staring into a campfire. That, combined with the puffy jacket, and it turned into a camping scene. Always open to feedback, thanks!

As a small animatronic branch, BaileyTainment gained the rights to use Ringmaster's Altitone band members as their own. So, they altered some of the characters and created their own chain of the Altitone Band: Zero Days Until the Party. These are the band members of that restaurant: Elizabeth the singer, Preistor the guitarist, Lexibo the pianist, Altor the drummer, and Dexter the DJ. A cat, a rabbit, elephant, bear, and racoon. Okay, so, even though I was certainly not born in the times of Showbiz Pizza Place, I am still in love with it. My favorites are Billy Bob, Looney Bird, Rolfe Dewolfe, and Uncle Klunk (but saying that I have favorites makes it look like I don't love them all...). have you ever seen the part in a bug's life where he flies into the wall, shows a thumbs up and says "I'm okaaay". that's how I imagine saying the title of this image. I added some bruises and stuff so I didn't have to explain to my younger sisters that I was referring to an emotional state of mind
Doodles, doodles, doodles. THIS IS NOT MY ORIGINAL DESIGN - I do not know who the original artist is but was inspired by some doodles I had seen on my Instagram feed. I definitely really enjoy these kinds of doodles, so relaxing and not so STRESSFUL as some of my charcoal realistic portraits can be.... might do some more :-)

It's Dave, from DSaF, wearing that one suit he wore while Henry was still around. The anatomy for him is kind of funky but that's because the style he was drawn in while wearing this suit made him kinda funky to begin with. Still Dave, though, so it's good enough for me.

This is a rendition of a drawing that I did for my mother when I was young. I wanted to redo it to see how it would turn out. I also decided to do it in water color since I have recently been getting very interested in watercolor.
I was experimenting with new brushes here, and also learning to draw eyes in different styles. I struggled a lot with the nose in this painting, because it was hard to figure out proportions without the rest of the face. Feedback always welcome!
