This was inspired by portraits from the 1920's. I've read that some girls who adopted the flapper style only wore one earring because their hair covered the other ear.

Truth be told this was a Pinterst try, so its very much inspired by a lovely piece of artwork that want mine, I only tired to imitate the overall thing

My very first (decent} character spread. I don't do it often, but this time it was pretty enjoyable.

I love doing tattoos and was even offered jobs in different states to do them on people. UGH. I'd rather just do them on paper.

I was on the fence of whether or not I was going to make a piece for the prompt, but I'm glad I did. I tested out some watercolor pens I had recently gotten (I definitely have to practice with them a bit more). I didn't really have a plan for this, and it was a bit fun to do something so spontaneously.

I wanted to cover up a crappy scribble that was on this page, so I just covered it in black and used a white ink pen to doodle over it

ya'know, i make more than a few of these, numbers aren't so important, this guy is just another living being who has lost their way. They're chosen to turn away from the gods and civilized society and toward hell, evil, anarchy, death, and other misdeeds. We all fall, but some of us don't get back up, we just linger in our darkness and drag others down to us. Each person of the Most Holy Trinity is crowning her and since doves don't have hands, I drew the Holy Spirit in humanoid form. :) The Eternal Father is in green because we often think about how he created all of Creation (as green is like a natury color ya know). Jesus in the Red of the Redemption and the Holy Spirit with the Brilliant White of Sanctification. Our Lady in her blue of Wisdom and Grace having the crown placed on her head. The crown has the Cross and M of mary like on the Miraculous Medal. ^_^ My Rosary pictures are complete! Wooo! :D Our Lady, Queen of the Divine Will, pray for us! Fiat. Another challenge from my son: the Winnie the Pooh characters as Washington Nationals.

In the Icons Jesus is holding the Soul of Our Lady. Just as she bore him and held Him as a child so now Jesus holds her and brings her into heaven. Then you can see her assumed body above. Oh and according to ancient tradition all the apostles were brought together for this event. "Henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me" (Lk 1:48-49). "The Most Blessed Virgin Mary, when the course of her earthly life was completed, was taken up body and soul into the glory of heaven, where she already shares in the glory of her Son's Resurrection, anticipating the resurrection of all members of his Body" (CCC, 974). I t is my opinion that Mel Gibson’s portrayal of the brutality the Roman soldier inflicted on the body of Jesus, through the beatings and the 39 lashes with the cat of nine tails. This event was never visually captured in arts, until he made his movie The Passion of the Christ. Many don’t know what a cat of nine tales is, Roman style. A cat of nine tails are nine leather strap that are woven together at the handle. Each strap is laced with bone and other sharp objects. With each lash, flesh would be ripped from the victim’s body. Most of the illustration I have seen of the crucifixion of Jesus where quite sterile. They fail to illustrate the brutality. Their image of Jesus looks more like an under wear modal doing a photo shoot fore GQ magazine, Then the savor having the wrath of God being pored on his body for the payment of our sins. In this painting, I am place my viewer in the soldiers shoes, who just witnessed Jesus committing His spirit into God’s hands. This artwork was inspired from snapchat, an app which I really love. I took one of my favourite filters and drew it on a person. It was an interesting experiment, I got the idea of google! I know this is simpler and a quicker piece, but this is the drawing for my August journal. I started doing these back in March, with each month's drawing being based off a song. This month is "Golden Slumbers" by the Beatles, July was "Tower of Babel" by Elton John. (The pencil sketch eye I previously posted is indeed now in my journal.)

The Kufi writing style is one of the most charming and strongest styles in Arabic Calligraphy. It is used here to illustrate the word "Allah" with some additional curves to maintain and clarify the beauty of this word. Besides some Islamic drawings which surround the word "Allah". This illustration firstly was made on paper with a pencil, then I converted it to digital art using Adobe Illustrator.

This was my first time using prismacolors! :)

Quick doodle I made in the morning,I had the speed paint video but I accidentally deleted it :/ luckily it was very easy to make and I can't wait to draw it again along with another doodle idea.

I've been so impressed with the ball point pen art that I have seen on this site, that I decided to give it a try. This is a Betta fish (Siamese fighting fish) done in red, blue, and purple ball point pens. Obviously, I have much to learn....but it was great fun and I have ordered some more colors since I plan on experimenting more. I've enclosed a photo of the work in progress and the various reference photos I used. The colors are more true to the final scan than in the flash photo of my drawing table.

This was my first trial with doodling in years. Done during the COVID lockdown, I was feeling lonely and anxious, and had only a piece of paper and one marker at hand. I smoked a joint and started drawing. I'm particularly proud of this one because it was completely intuitive and free-style, and it made me confident enough to keep doodling afterwards.

The Nornwan: World Of Wonder series has always had Adventure Time at its inspired heart. I just figured I'd finally make this and practice a little imitation of one of my favorite art styles, tell you the truth, I used to hate Adventure Time, I used to think it was too simple, and even dumb, but after a few years and a little convincing, I got into it. And I've had a happier life ever since. Thank you.
