This was an exercise in taking a photo that was quite dark and foreboding and turning it into a happy looking illustration. I'm slowly getting my head around how to make my work look like illustration instead of "fine art". This is watercolour and colour pencil.
He wanders the fields, the mountains an the forest. With a little bit of luck, you can meet him and he will make a little concert. These little guys met him at the river. this is a drawing i stared aloong time ago. Now i decided to finish iit. when you look at the second picture, you can see the reference i used. It was really cool to play around with it :)

This is my first attempt at doodling some trees and it most certainly was not an easy task. I hope as I practice that I will be able to draw more detail and a variety of trees. Special thanks to Jean Garro (@Gentoo201) for the inspiration with her awesome drawings! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ♥♥ Thanks girl!
I genuinely can't believe it's already March (I also can't believe it'll be a year since the pandemic really started). Yesterday also marked one year since I started journaling, which isn't an actual major thing, but still. How quickly time flies and how big of a difference a year can make. "And when it rains, the rain falls down Washing out the cattle town But she's quite safe up far away in her eiderdown And she dreams of crystal streams Of days gone by when we would lean Laughing, fit to burst, on each other."
So, the shorter animatronics that I posted earlier were actually the second versions of those animatronics. I redrew them because of... how they looked, I guess. Their proportions were way off. This animatronic is the third version of one of the animatronics, Elizabeth. I was planning on making more of these guys, to update them all, but it takes hours to make these guys, because I also have to make the endoskeleton for them. So, right now, Advanced Elizabeth sits in Jester's workshop, where she'll be alone for as long as I don't make another advanced animatronic. Personally, I think these look a lot nicer, but the second versions (the ones I posted) have a certain charm to them. I'm also working on the right stage animatronics, the red fox and the DJ. A handful of Brit flicks have been showing up on Disney+ lately, and one of them I watched recently had Luke Perry of all folks in it... the film in question is called ‘The Beat Beneath My Feet’ in case you’re curious.
In all seriousness though, British films with American actors in them as a lead/central character will forever and always fascinate me, much like Luke Perry’s birth name did! Rest well good sir and thanks for everything.
Inktober Day 4: Radio. A quick paint/doodle while talking with a good friend. Today was decent. Hoping for a better week this time around. "From the end of the world to your town."
Doodles, doodles, doodles. THIS IS NOT MY ORIGINAL DESIGN - I do not know who the original artist is but was inspired by some doodles I had seen on my Instagram feed. I definitely really enjoy these kinds of doodles, so relaxing and not so STRESSFUL as some of my charcoal realistic portraits can be.... might do some more :-)
Marginalias' character are starting to flesh out, even if I still don't have a story.
These two are the princess (Who still doesn't have a name. Diana maybe?) a peryton and Ancelade, an atlas lion.
They met when they were kid ( 9-10 for Ancelade, about fifteen for the princess).
Ancelade was brought back from a war campaign by an old veteran knight who more or less adopted him and the Princess, when meeting a dirty, shivering lion cub, took him under her wing right away (quite literally, he used to fit under her wing, not anymore).
(The joke, every time this episode is mentioned, is that Ancelade's adoptive father, while already having fathered children, had no idea how to care for a child and probably thought they were self cleaning).
Once Ancelade properly cleaned up, the Princess discovered he was blond AND fluffy.
Ten years later, she is still the only one allowed to touch his mane.
Each think of the other as the brother or sister they don't have anymore. Even if everyone always ask them the same old question to which they answer in a mature and articulated way:
Are you lovers?
This is part of a beautiful moment that was created as I was painting on these mini watercolour sheets. During the journey, I painted around 5 paintings. This is the first painting I painted during my train journey. A group of girls ( students ) got excited when I showed some of my paintings. So I gifted them this. More on the way ....
I decided to try and do an this one entirely out of pen, without first using pencil..... Which didn't turn out so well considering that I'm terrible at spacing letters. So I am aware his name is missing an a at the end. I will try to upload more frequently and try to figure out how to do digital art, I was having a problem with my images being smaller than 500x500, if you know how you could help me that would be much appreciated.
"Beauty of Hope" as one of the original painting I donated to charity and it was auction in exhibit. It was one of my favorite painting so far.
I used koi watercolor and a fabriano 200 gsm paper. Most of the color I used are blue, green, light green and yellow and a bit of orange. The metallic gold paint was one of the color that added flavor to the painting.
Butter # Who knows ny more? : The Scotch Angus. I gotta say, bottles a NOT easy subjects!.... And neither are butterflies. So a tricky one whichever way you look at it. This was certainly one to have fun with :)

Jung here. Done 2022 with Color pencils on 81/2 x 11 comicbook board backing. This is my character that i have created and it is part 2 of the original gas face that i had created. One day I went to my comic book shop and I was looking around and i saw this comicbook board backings,which is a bit larger than regular backings cuz it is for magazine size backing boards when I asked the worker at the comic book shop he said they are not selling those backings so I asked him can I have some and he said yes, so I used one of the backings on the backside to draw this character of mine,but I noticed as i was working on the piece the backing surface of the paper start to peel off and it was not durable at all. As you can see you will see some tiny peeled off spots of the paper in the artwork. This prequel, it is revealed that the Cârța Monastery was built somewhere in Romania by a duke centuries ago. Becoming obsessed with dark magic and Satanism, the Duke attempts to summon a demonic force from the catacombs only to be killed by the members of the Vatican who then sealed the rift with the Blood of Christ. Hundreds of years later, the monastery was bombed heavily during the events of World War II, releasing the same evil spirit from its imprisonment. The demon had since taken the form of a nun as a means of blending with the other nuns as well as to mock their faith. Throughout the years, nuns continuously prayed in communion to combat the evil, but in vain as the demonic entity walked freely around the monastery all nights, in the form of a nun to mock their faith.
In 1952, Valak had slain several of the nuns, leaving only two survivors. Sister Victoria, with a key in hand, commits suicide in order to prevent Valak from claiming her as a host. Sometime after her death, the Vatican tasks Burke and Sister Irene to investigate. Valak manipulates the characters throughout the film ranging from creating mass illusions with the ghosts of the slain nuns to weaken Sister Irene and tormenting Father Burke by taking the form of a young boy who had died from a botched exorcism at his hands. Valak then buries Father Burke alive before luring Sister Irene to become possessed. When the catacombs began to flood, Valak tries to strangle Sister Irene to death. While inspecting her for any vital signs, Sister Irene spits the Blood of Christ onto Valak, burning it severely. The rift is then resealed. However, this would prove to not be the end of the Demon Nun as when the group was leaving, Frenchie, a French Canadian otherwise known as Maurice is revealed to have an inverse cross branded on the back of his neck. This segues to the original Conjuring film during a lesson the Warrens were giving about demonic possession. Narwhals it seems, and I’m sure I’ve said this before, are a perfect remedy for art blocks I'd say. Wasn’t going anywhere last night, that is until I gave things another go and this fellow here saved the day!
