This series came about as a way to catalogue the many intense and tumultuous emotions of living through the pandemic.

This is the next redo on tap. It's a watercolor painted in about 2006. Likely I'll only change values of the leaves--the lighter ones. And I will try to define the yellow petunias better.

It seemed strange - maybe - to daydream about them while sitting under a blueberry bush, but the bird thought it made them sweeter.
