I am continuing to try to paint without outlining in pen first - just starting with a pencil sketch. I used this awesome photo as reference: https://www.pexels.com/photo/chimpanzee-sitting-on-gray-stone-in-closeup-photography-during-daytime-33787/
Having younger siblings is 50% about having spoiled rotten playmates and 50% about making sure those little morons dont accidentaly kill themselves. Border collies are so hard to draw antropomorph! Ever noticed how they most of the time keep their head lover than the bum?
I used brush pen and watercolors. The most challenging part was holding back on excessive pen lines to render the fur, using patches of paint instead. Although I think the background is a bit dark and there a few mistakes, I feel that learned from this.
#PleinAirpril Day 1 ∙ When I visited this park a week before, I didn’t see the candy there at first. The second time I visited, I realized they were disguised as trees.
Day 13 Kind
For this day i decided to draw flapjack from “the misadventures of flapjack”an old cartoon i used to watch. I have been currently rewatching it for fun and i said to myself flapjack is kind he should be here.
