Finally, my artblock seems to be over but now there are exams coming and I still can't draw

playing with watercolours

This was inspired by the artwork of AnneliesDraws. She has an amazing skills with gouache and colored pencils. I don't have gouache paints and so I tried making an illustration using my watercolor paints. I tried increasing the opacity of the watercolor to almost the same as of the gouache paints. By the way, this is her instagram: https://www.instagram.com/anneliesdraws

Watercolor

This is a mess I made with Monet's Crimson Red and Ultramarine Blue paint tubes. Wet on wet technique and a bit of a mindlessly overdone splatters.

I set my eyes on spring onions for the first time in my life after picking up this past Sunday's farm produce box. They were so beautiful! I also found the container of scraps for the compost inspiring as I invented a soup out of my new bounty.

What skin colour is yours? ....Does that even matter ? P.S-: this wasn't mine :p it was just a youtube channels caption ;~p But please do like ;)

Magical water lady

Done with watercolor and pen.

Credit to my hubby, "Patch" for introducing me to this world AND for the last fantastic line of this strip!

A zoom reunion with the girls from my freshman engineering floor and the bison in Golden Gate Park. I've been wanting to sketch the bison for awhile. Unfortunately, it was super hot when I finally had a moment alone on my bike ride home, and I didn't have a hat. I'll visit them again better prepared for the elements.

Monochromatic watercolour illustration

More sanitized and drying produce. My son arranged the fruit for this drawing, including the bites taken out of the apple.

He's either a blue Dalmatian, or a white Labrador who's messed around with blue paint...

A resident of Gatti di Roma cat Sanctuary in Rome. This piece will be auctioned and the proceeds will go to the charity.

Unfinished value study for a painting, worked in graphite on hot pressed watercolor paper. Drafted and rendered using the Bargue method. Hopefully, I got the photo oriented correctly so that the drawing will be right side up, once I upload it! If anyone has advice for photographing a heavy application of graphite, without getting weird reflectiveness, or speckled effects, I’m very interested!
