Hey everyone! This is an interactive website I did for my BFA thesis this year. The piece explores the struggles I’ve faced as a black, lesbian woman. This piece features events that happened when I was in an unhealthy relationship in high school, from late-2016 to mid-2017. The work combines CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML with digitized images that I drew on paper, using black colored pencil. I'd really appreciate some feedback and critique for this work. He stares at the small square black device. The red led in it keeps blinking simultaneously with the beep and, except for one small button, Neal sees no other modules.
“…This is weird,” he says aloud.
When Satchmo makes another louder puff, Neal decides to go ahead with his friend’s advice and press the button.
I’ve decided to try doing a galaxy painting again, I really like doing the first one. Honestly, I think the first one was better than the second one,which is weird but I’ve definitely learned a lot doing the second one like how I want to layer down the paint and what the background should look like. This is another 4, 6 x 6 painting like I did before; I’m gonna try doing planets again on each board, i want to get better at this.
(HB pencil on 110mm x 78mm paper) When doing this form of automatic drawing, strange characters and weird objects do take shape, leaving the rest of the image as dream construct.

A redraw of a drawing I did based off a drawing I did last year,what's different:no more eyelashes,I fixed her weird head shape,she now has jeans because it suits her better,no hair tie,her boots are now red.Algodón means cotton in spanish figured it was a better last name than candy.She was originally a side character in my story but now she's the main character.she's not bubbly or optimistic nor is she a pessimist but a realist.she works as a DEA agent to fight against crime and kingpins,her 1# foe would be ruthleen and parsnip.people don't take her seriously because she's pink,soft and fluffy.despite constant mockery,Clemence is always determined and confident.I might make a reference sheet of her one of these days.

Apparently, Blixa Bargeld of Einsturzende Neubaten and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds fame actually did this to his school back when he was a lad! I needed an idea for a convoluted weird-as-they-come title, and after reading that story I knew I had something, heheheh :)

Used by witches to restore eyesight once their bodies start to decay from being far too old. The liquid is sipped from the shell of a tortoise and eyesight is restored for a period of 6 months. (I just made that up)
