Medium : Pen and ink on Bristol Board Size : 11" x 15 " Year illustration was done : 1987 This rendering of a broken down wagon, is part of a group of Pen and ink illustrations I did for a christian mission , for their pamphlet that was put together to imform the public about their services and ministry to the military members and their families. This mission reaches out to miltary through offering hospitality, Bible studies, holding retreats, and hosting luncheons for church groups. Military soldier who are in training also would come out to the rach to spend the weekend off post, to rest, learn the Bible , get home cooked meals, and enjoy out door recreation. I work as a summer missionary with this mission a couple of summer, helping with up keep of the ranch and helping with conducting the retreats. written by Stephen J. Vattimo

I was looking at what Pixabay might offer as inspiration, and found this fish. Perfect for a ballpoint pen drawing. The incompleted drawing in the second photo was taken before the final "glaze" of little scribbles of turquoise pen across almost the whole surface. It was a happy accident that made for a shimmery, iridescent fishy quality.

This painting illustrates a man who finds safety from drowning in a stormy sea by climbing on to a platform in shape of a cross. The storm itself represents the trial we face in life. The shipwrecked person shows that we have nothing we can approach God with that would sway Him to help us when we call on Him for help. Only out of grace and mercy does He rescue us. The platform in the shape of the cross represents that God has provided a way for man to escape punishment for his sins, which would have been casting him into the lake of fire after death. Through God’s love and mercy, He punished Jesus for man’s sin; the guiltless Son of God was punished so that the guilty sinful humans could be saved through faith. The step represents man’s need to come to God humbly through Jesus to receive anything from God. The light breaking through the clouds represents God hearing the man’s prayer and answering it. I have been doing this challenge for 31 days honestly I thought that I wasn’t going to do it because I set goals for myself before and I never really went through and achieved them but I have had so much time to myself during this pandemic during these past two years that I feel like I should’ve been doing something but never did and I just didn’t want another year pass and not doing anything and which is the whole reason I have been doing this challenge 31 days wasn’t that bad and I hope to keep on going for the next 334 days I think getting to 100 will be a big milestone for me that would be something to celebrate

Many years back, I watched that documentary ‘The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off’ about a fellow called Jonny Kennedy who lived with the skin condition EB. There’s a bit in that film where he talks about what he hopes his afterlife would be like and, for whatever reason, a couple of coffees as I was re-reading the Wikipedia article about it triggered an idea I had to scribble down...

Clemence was supposed to be the only child but to create more conflict I decided to give her a younger teen sister name Calamity,who's blue,figuratively and literally.she's not goth,she just likes wearing black.Calamity,like most teens,has self-esteem issues and has no hope in herself and thinks the future is going to be grim.

A dumb radio commercial inspired this comic done in a blank comic book using ink stamps and pen. Parts are verbatim, such as, "I use to be the life of the party, but when I experienced hearing loss, I'd just sit there quietly". I share with you a very special project I had the pleasure to participate in 2021, an initiative of @humanityonthemove.hom with @thisisastromag There were more than 70 artists who, in collaboration with refugees, worked together to build artistic pieces. The result was a virtual exhibition, which culminated in an online auction to support @donate4refugees . With all the art pieces sold, they managed to raise 3336 euros. been revisiting some older characters of mine. this one's a kid called aimery who goes to this american boarding school called emerson. he leads a fairly mundane life, resemblant of today's average high schooler, until a boy called oak shows up as an australian exchange student for the year. turns out oak's a ghosty magic witchy person who "frees" ghosts, or releases them from their non-material but conscious form into complete nonexistence. in short, aimery becomes attached before oak's untimely death.

Gladys is a gobstopper which is a type of round,large,hard candy.like Clemence they're both candy people.Gladys is naive,kind and most of the times enthusiastic unlike Clemence who tends to be a realist.Clemence and her are best friends,they both applied to become DEA agents at the same time.she is big and round and which gives her an advantage when facing enemies so she can roll down like a ball and run over them.she resembles a clown with pink cheeks and a red dot resembling a nose.

first attempt at drawing the back of an character,it was easy since Lime Verde is circular.Major Lime Verde is an old but competent fruit who has successfully stopped drug and arms smuggling in most parts of the city,even crime which of course angers many kingpins.shortly after his 2nd term he gets in a freak accident caused by Paxton Pomegranate (a crook who has ties with a drug lord)for firing him.Paxton soon finds and contracts a replacement.a fitness trainer who happens to be a himbo along with his ditzy although smarter girlfriend.Verde soons finds himself helpless and amnesiac.

We just finished reviewing The Avengers for the holiday weekend... Captain America is a truly magnificent man. But you know who else is amazing? Chris Evans! He’s gonna be the voice of Buzz Lightyear this year, and we’re looking forward to it.

I do generally put pen (or some kind of tool), to paper (or some kind of surface), every day, but I'm really TRYING to do it purposefully in one singular location (journal). Here is a successful attempt from that particular day. I'm also super lazy, which means I never go up to my actual studio and only use what's out on my computer desk. *including the whole spread, as sometimes I like the "waste" page most.

WOW, is there really a movie that we have all been waiting for! Spider-man: No Way Home is already on the screens of cinemas. Stock up on popcorn and soda, something really exciting is in store for us! In the meantime, we have prepared a small gift for the day of the premiere. Zendaya has been a godsend for this franchise! Amazing actress, a wonderful singer, and a gorgeous woman! She can rightfully be called one of the icons of the outgoing year. Looking forward to seeing her in the new movie! A.Taffelers is one of the most influential yet richest drug lords (richer than ruthleen and parslip) and also one of the youngest at 27 years old.Taffelers is highly temperamental yet cunning,he often has mood swings which leads to him having emotional outbursts (most of the time pulling his face or his "hair")he was homeless at a young age,went through foster care many times and never went to high school.His ex Darcel Cerise,who's the daughter of a deceased drug lord,met him and fell in love with him.years after he replaced her father and forgot about Taffelers and joined Madames Morada's mob.He,Ruthleen and parsnip are not enemies but simple rivals.all of his underlings are candy people

It's Saint John of God with his good brother Saint Raphael the Archangel! Saint John of God was a Portuguese soldier turned health-care worker in Spain, whose followers later formed the Brothers Hospitallers of Saint John of God, a worldwide Catholic religious institute dedicated to the care of the poor, sick, and those suffering from mental disorders (He himself had a mental breakdown). The Archangel Raphael assisted him in his charitable work even wearing the Habit of St. John of God's order (which is black, yes good angels can wear black lol). This drawing refers to when Saint John of God was helped by Raphael as he carried a sick man ("Whatever you have done to the least of your brethren you have done to me"). Just as John of God lay weakened with the burden of carrying the man and feeling like he could not go on, Raphael appeared and together they shared the load to ensure the man was carried to the hospital. He did this and appeared many other times to help in various ways, once he even appeared with St. John the Apostle. This painting started out as a pumpkin design for the Chads Ford, Pennsylvania, Historical Society’s Great Pumpkin Carve, which I have been participating in for the last eleven years. What inspired me to turn the design into a lasting painting was the message, made the design so relevant. It seems the message, which echoes louder and louder as each day passes; the force of heaven and hell are coming out of the dark and into the daylight. The dove in the painting has always been used in mankind’s history to represent hope, peace, and the symbol of the Holy Spirit. The sun in the Bible is called the greater light that governs the day. So, I used dove and the sun to represent the spiritual force of the heavenly kingdom that is seen and unseen in our world. The bat is known as a creature of the night, thought to be a foul creature that people fear. The moon in the Bible is called the lesser light, which was created to govern the night, to give light on to the earth at night. Nighttime is mentioned in the Bible as when men do their evil deeds. Before man invented methods to light the street and people’s homes, people limited their activity at night due to the absence of light. People with superstitious beliefs believe that demonic creature dwelt in the shadow and would attack them if they stepped out of the light. Another historical fact is that bandits would hide in the dark and rob night travelers. People also worked while it was daylight, then would party, get drunk, and sleep around at night. The Bible mentions that those who reject God’s Messiah do not come into the light because their deeds are evil, and they don’t want them to be exposed. So I chose to use the bat and the moon to symbolize the dark evil kingdom of the fallen angels. 168 The reason why the two creatures converge in the middle is because mankind is the centerpiece that both sides are contesting for. Man kind, in the beginning, was created as a holy creation. But just as Satan decided he was going to exalt himself above His Creator, he went to the rest of the angels to get them to join his army to dethrone God. When Satan and his army lost the battle for the heavenly kingdom, He turned his eyes to conquering the earthly realm by tempting mankind, who God had gifted the deed of the earth to. The devil possesses a snake to hold a conversation with man to deceive them into distrusting God and leading them to disobey the commandment from God not to eat from The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. This is how man became the middle battleground. God’s force is battling to restore mankind back to fellowship with God and regain their citizenship in God’s eternal kingdom. Satan and his army of fallen angels work on deceiving, afflicting, and destroying mankind in hope of taking as many as his army can drag to the eternal lake of fire, where God will throw everyone who has denounced Him as their God and king.
