Re-watching the series now. Really liked the general concept, visual character design and the action scenes. It even inspired me to make an AMV about Korra >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TIidatQrw8 It was nice and refreshing to see a (physically) strong rebellious female character, something different from a usual portrayal of female characters. However something went down the hill and I'm struggling to go past the 1st season hehe. I know, Korra and the whole series are quite controversial and I understand why, but as a female myself I was inspired by this badass female character (well, as I explained, until some point, but nonetheless). Once, my parents and I visited the zoo, I came here very often because my parents let me go out every weekend, as well as to let them relieve the stress at work. Every time I come, I visit the king of the forest. Its body is also very large, it is short, not as tall as zebras or antelopes, but on the movie channel we see that it can catch those horses. Why so? It is because they are so fast even though they are short that it does not become the tiger's limitation. Its whole body is covered with a beautiful plumage of black and orange, which looks very beautiful. The color scheme on that body is also very delicate. In places like: the neck, inside the legs… there are beautiful white hairs that look like cotton cream that I'm holding.Its fangs are very sharp like large, sharp needles. Every time people feed it, those sharp teeth come out looking really scary. It used those jaws to tear raw meat into pieces. The tiger's paws have very sharp claws, the very paws that help it grab food. I like it because it is a powerful and powerful animal. It is that curiosity that helps me get closer to it and see it in every position. And the weekend comes to see how it grows bigger and stronger.

This was inspired by portraits from the 1920's. I've read that some girls who adopted the flapper style only wore one earring because their hair covered the other ear.

Then we began our underground life. We walked around in our nighties and did nothing. Mummy didn't draw. We were bears with pine needles in our stomachs and anyone who dared come near our winter lair was torn to pieces. We were lavish with the wood, and threw log after log on to the fire until it roared. Sometimes we growled. Just a simple little mandala doodle drawing I drew this morning.... getting better a doodle at a time!! Hope to draw better more complex and more evenly spaced out designs in the future. I am a completely self-taught artist who is not at all naturally talented in drawing or any art medium for that matter but am learning and praticing and getting better daily. My advice is if you are a beginner or aren't naturally blessed artistically but have the passion creative mindset and desire to become good at art then keep going keep on praticing and learning from those before you and I promise you will get better and eventually great! YOU ARE AN ARTIST!!

Oils on canvass. This is Charlie. He's the parrot owned by the supermarket where my husband used to work. The owner of the shop brought him in to keep him from getting bored and pulling his feathers out. He has a large cage at the entrance which he often escapes from, and can be found hopping from trolley to trolley on the handles, to amuse himself. He's usually found by a staff member who brings him back. A real character lol

My mind is on Puna so much lately. I love Hawaii...was born there and rediscovered it as an adult. I stay in Puna area when I go, in little houses I rent, or once, housesitting for a friend. This drawing was made one day when Mom and Dad and I went to Pohoiki to sketch. This little cottage and park is in the path of the flow and may already be gone. You can no longer drive there as the roads have been cut off by the lava flow. My heart goes out to all Hawaii residents dealing with this massive lava flow, and the VOG that goes with it. There might be a few weird reflections in this as I had to take a pic of it on my screen to get a file large enough....I gave the original to a friend who lives near the park.
