hello :) my boyfriend and i did a trip to costa rica. it was fantastic, chaotic and adventurous and a mix of emotions. we are in a longdistace relationship and i am so grateful that we finally saw each other again there were times on the trip when i felt stressed, because things didnt go the way we planned. Drawing this really helped me to process all the different emotions. And i had so much fun drawing :)

Following the daily painting challenge with Lisa Congdon over at CreativeBug though I haven't quite managed to keep up daily. Still, it's wonderful picking the brush up again and splashing around with paint!
Some weeks ago my family and I visited my aunt and my cousins. The sun was shining alot in these days and it was so much fun. Exploring the places and spending time with my family and friends felt soo exciting and wonderful. These feelings inspired me for this drawing. Hi and hello! Now is the time for her to just feel the sand under her toes and knees. The little friends are doing their happydance and she passed by to say hello. I was so proud of this picture and had alot of fun drawing it and then - I honestly got really insecure about it. Now i gave myself a little push and decided to share it now. My mum and i call him morise. (His real name is moritz). he made us delicious tea and coffee in his artstudio. we talked, painted and i drew alot at his place. he turned into family. when i heard that he passed away, i couldnt pick up a paintingbrush, acrylics or watercolours because it reminded me so much of him. now, for this drawing i started to experiment with watercolours again and added it in the drawing. honestly, i cried during the process of painting but i am proud that i dared to use it. i enjoyed to experiment.

I just love how easy it is to doodle with a tablet! I can die peacefully knowing that it only takes me less than 20 minutes to doodle with a Huion than taking more than an hour to doodle on my phone using my finger (I use a Huion tablet)Im currently still practicing so it might take a while to draw fanart or even my OC's
This quick sketch of an impressionist painting is a reminder to me of how we cannot see anything until we are taught to see it. I was enjoying the painting because of the way Tarbell captured light, when a man and his wife joined me. The man said to his wife: "This is a wonderful painting, but I wonder whose lap the baby is on.". I was shocked because I was not able to see the baby till he mentioned that there was one. I noticed that it was indeed difficult to tell whose lap it was on. It was a transformative and humbling experience.
A wonderful reflective poem from Wendell Berry entitled "How to be a poet" is a fantastic foundation for an art curriculum. The last of three stanzas reads as follows:
Accept what comes from silence.
Make the best you can of it.
Of the little words that come
out of the silence, like prayers
prayed back to the one who prays,
make a poem that does not disturb
the silence from which it came.
When my mind is running wild and i start to feel anxious, i try to remind myself to just feel my heart. This helpes me alot. And the little friends are always there, no matter what:)) Wish you a wonderful and magical day!
o, the other day, I joined Artfol. While perusing my feed, there, I came across a submission for @millydoesart ‘s DTIYS and immediately decided I had to try my hand at this. It’s such a fun piece, and right up my alley (which is great, because I have been struggling artistically lately). Anyway, here is the end result. As a bonus, this only took me 5 hours! (I spent most of the time on the folds). I had a lot of fun. Thanks to @millydoesart for giving me the opportunity to try my hand at their wonderful concept

this is a drawing i started awhile ago. while working on it there where moments were i felt sad and it cheered me up.
The giant is inspired of the Forest Giant in the series "Hilda". After i watched the episode i really wanted to draw a giant. Now, some months later i finished the drawing and i had really fun. ☺️
