I had an idea to create illustrations of fruit set in autumn 2017, and have been working on the realization of this idea throughout February/March 2018. In all, I have created 11 illustrations: apple, apricot, banana, cherry, grape, lemon, orange, pear, plum, tomato, watermelon. Using rapidograph to form the shape, I am coloring my works digitally in Adobe Photoshop. Here is an apple!
Some bicycles in front of a statue and a bicycle shop. Sittard, The Netherlands. I am not quite happy , the way the statue worked out. I should have used a smaller nib for that.
(HB pencil on 110mm x 90mm paper) Another of my now yearly drawings that I use for Christmas cards which I send out to various people. As ever, these cards also included its own seasonal tale, which you can read here: http://www.skavart.co.uk/2018/12/merry-christmas-2018-last-nativity.html
Another doodle, this time using mostly shapes and lines instead of characters and faces. Also, this was done traditionally with ink instead of digitally, which I hadn't done in a while and was a lot of fun!
