I know this is simpler and a quicker piece, but this is the drawing for my August journal. I started doing these back in March, with each month's drawing being based off a song. This month is "Golden Slumbers" by the Beatles, July was "Tower of Babel" by Elton John. (The pencil sketch eye I previously posted is indeed now in my journal.)
On May I created him,I named this little lad "Mevlon" I'm still working on redesigning his outfit (I'll get rid of the sweater vest lol) I'm not too keen on drawing my OC's on paper but I guess it came out half decent?
This watercolor painting was done of one of the first flowers I saw upon arriving in London. It was a yellow climbing rose on the outside of our residence hall. Malthus appears to be absent of any kind of mercy or remorse, often toying with its victims before attempting to kill them and take their souls. Malthus is also very sadistic, persistent, aggressive, terrifying, and pure evil. Done with lead pencil on 11x17 80ibs strathmore drawing paper. This character is based on demon that came in real life story. In Annabelle comes home movie is where he gets involved the most. This was for an art submission over at MightCould Studios, link in my bio. This week they asked us to draw a Sanrio character and I chose the frog Kerropi, hopefully thats spelled right.

This was drawn in Spiralty (a free Windows program) and colored in Photoshop. Great fun and very relaxing. I am definitely going to be making more mandalas during the rest of the pandemic.
