One of my favorite Mammals, the Pangolin. Like a mix between an Armadillo and an Anteater with a prehensile tail. Yes, they do actually exist. :P (it's done in pencil, and I just added a green filter to it to liven it up)

2015 - I wanted to try watercolor painting in a more realistic way, but this is as realistic as it can get. Sadly, I chose to ignore the nose part, in my fear of ruining everything. Although, I must say, I was happy and proud of the outcome of this attempt. ❤️

Coloring practice! Looked up a lot of references for the lighting, and despite not looking like the reference I'd say I've leveled up with colored pencils. I almost never use prismas except for hair, but this time prismas colored the entire lass. This here's Yonn Goldheart Afflora, savior of Galantra, basically she's the braveheart of her country. The dirt on her face speaks of 1000 hunts and the loss of her eye shows the extent of her bravery and sacrifice. I'm thinking her chapter should be explained in a short story, yes? For legends get passed along in story over fire and wine!

Brush marker and Sharpie Pen on regular sketchbook paper. I closed my eyes and randomly picked 3 markers from my collection, and filled in the sketch that I had done previously with them. Try it!

Chari is one of my favorite folks to draw! I have been drawing a lot more while out and about. Using the cheap graph composition notebook, non-expensive art supplies and going to a coffee shop to draw people. Sometimes I can get a likeness with my mind, eyes, hands and draftsmanship and other times it is the "many moods of my subject." :-) This is a place (in my book) where I can learn from my perceived fails. ****The images are sideways! I know this. I do not know how to make them portrait orientation. They started out as portrait-scaped orientation and now they are landscape. Well..... Okay then. The figurative landscape. Hahaahhha! Cry. I even tried the visa versa. Nope. They want to be on their sides.

The freshness of morning withdrew in front of the warm rays of the sun. The Wizard of Cirilo Bum and I came to the High Meadow, one beautiful gazebo, where we planned to spend a day off. - Only those who work hard and get their work done, fully enjoy all the pleasure of a vacation - said the wizard Čirilo Bum. 'You ride?!!' they asked, 'Bikes with gear? For real?!' This Artwork is a response to this very common reaction I get as a female rider. Yes, women ride bikes. In fact, ALL types of women can ride bikes. I saw this lady in a Burkha riding an Avenger bike recently, on the highway with her husband riding pillion. So inspiring!
