A drawing made in Adobe Draw on the iPad. One of my first attempts on a strict color palette. Normally Im in to More is better, instead of that boring Less is more.. But it is fun to control the colors for a change. As a matter of fact, change is just good, even when its not.
So many saddening things happened in my beloved country. When Lombok haven’t revived from the disaster, another city was devastated by a huge earthquake and tsunami. Whenever I open the social media, there are people asking for help to find their missing family members. My heart races, hoping that they will reunite soon and alive. I can’t do anything besides praying for them. I’m also frightened to think that the disaster could happen in my city too. So, if you’re reading this, I’m asking for your prayers. May god protect us all.

Everyone's got several faces to show to the world, most of which are hidden because one knows about their real nature. to think people are good seems way too easy to me. You are the reaction and interpretation of your experiences and current circumstances. Assuming the world is shit, people got to be shit at least part time. So go on with your masquerade in order to trick mainly yourself.
Artists rarely have the opportunity to display their work.
Modern people want to enjoy art, but they don't have time.
What if there is an exhibition hall where anyone can exhibit their work and it is possible to view it anytime and anywhere?
Artistrone is a google card board VR showroom where anyone can upload and share their work in their own virtual showroom.

I took an hour or two and drew some owls while watching the 7th Harry Potter movie. I wanted to create something playful that aligned with a verse I really liked after reading about the Mother Nature challenge. I decided to play around with some water color and create funky patterns with double ended brush pens and voila! Fun art that brings a smile to my face. I hope you enjoy! Take care, Elena

This is watercolor using the negative painting technique where you paint around your subject using multiple layers which creates depth. This has greater than 8 layers of watercolor washed around the tree shapes
