This artwork is not really mine as I drew it from a tutorial, but I love the way the pink comes out in every way possible. I hope you too like this pinkish scenery ;)
This artwork was inspired from snapchat, an app which I really love. I took one of my favourite filters and drew it on a person. It was an interesting experiment, I got the idea of google! The Nornwan: World Of Wonder series has always had Adventure Time at its inspired heart. I just figured I'd finally make this and practice a little imitation of one of my favorite art styles, tell you the truth, I used to hate Adventure Time, I used to think it was too simple, and even dumb, but after a few years and a little convincing, I got into it. And I've had a happier life ever since. Thank you.
It was the first time I tried using a Fabriano 200 gsm cold pressed watercolor paper. And I had learned different techniques in watercolors through the process of creating this painting. It was also fun painting the waves. Thank you, Maria Raczynska.

I figured I'd post a progress picture of the Elton John drawing I started 2-ish weeks ago. I'm coloring it based off the album booklet (from 'Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player'), so the colors in the actual picture are a bit more yellow/orange (just in case you were questioning the color choices). This has been a project I really enjoy; it's pretty relaxing.
I initially wanted to draw a mandala but after outlining the big circles, I thought "why not add some texture?" and there you go. Experimenting with different shapes and shades always pays off.
