I am in my middle age. Some doors are closing. Other doors are opening. I have enjoyed playing with art for most of my lifetime. During the pandemic, art is my lifeline.
I specialize in drawing.
A little sketch 3 by 5” of a robin and coloured in with water colour paints.
Same bird, different poses. A paper and ink sketch. Hard to get the whited white. I need to work on my photography skills!
A little sketch, 3” by 5”, made better with a bit of cheap watercolour paint. I don’t know why, but I like this little scene. It isn’t a terribly brilliant sketch and I didnt paint it with great care, but still, i like it. And in the end, it really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. If you finish a little piece of art snd can say you like it even weeks and months later, then it is a winner for you.
I am half way through my sixth decade, and I still like cute animals. This guy is the quintessential cute pet from so many of our childhoods.
This started as a sketch and then i played around with colour using procreate. Im really happy with how it turned out.
A bic pen in small sketchbook.
Pencil crayon and black fine tip marker. A scribbling job of an art piece. Done fast with colour applied intuitively and without planning.
