The Cosmic Turtle or the World-bearing Turtle, is a story of a giant turtle supporting the world - often on the backs of elephants. It occurs in Hindu mythology, Chinese mythology, and the mythologies of the indigenous peoples of the Americas. Due to the parlous state of our planet, I have depicted it as a skull on fire. Enough said.
