This is gorgeous - what folktale inspired it? Really well balanced. I love the detailing from the face, the simple shapes of the figure against the dark forest backdrop. Very nice!
@slarsson Thank you so much!!! It was really a conglomeration of mythological stuff - older female figures being associated with the moon and old German nursery rhymes where household implements show up as weapons. When I drew it, I sort of imagined the spirit of the moon shining down on a giant cathedral bell and riding it away into the sky, as weird as that sounds!
