@GBsNightmare Amazing book ikr I just wish my villainous backstory could be a little less romance and a little more... idk. Can we have an aroace villain or something? Maybe someone with a empathetic disorder disabling them from feeling anything for others? I just think it's a little stupid that Coryo ends up that way because of a romance that didn't work out imo but the characters are amazing and Lucy Gray? help?? like why is she so pretty I wanna draw her??? But yeah understanding her really lets you look at the fanart in a new way! Thank you!

@flammabledaydream I LOVE Lucy though, she's just the most lovable character. And then he- okay nvm no spoilers for other people. But, I do agree, why does he have to kill people to become this villain. And he becomes that because of HER. Anyways, its frustrating.

@GBsNightmare No no that's not what I'm saying- Basically, he should kill people. Murder 'em in the millions. I like a ruthless villain. But it was love not working out that broke him and I think there are plenty of other ways to trace a character arc. My point is, we Suzanne didn't need romance to break him. If you watch Joker or something? there's minimal romance and it's not the primary reason Arthur broke. I think if tbosas achieved that in YA it would be revolutionary and way better than murder-my-girlfriend-and-be-mopey-about-it.

@GBsNightmare This is just imo. I just can't stand when people can't understand a villain for who they are and- *sigh*. Well, Coriolanus is a valid person and I hate to seem him treated as anything else. Idk if I'd be much different from him in his situation.
