Weirds of the Meadow

Mixed media drawing. The sky can spread oppressively across a flat landscape like the meadows of the midwestern United States. In this drawing I wanted to evoke that sense as a backdrop for a trio of Weirds, soothsayers of folklore.

I really love this!!! If you don't mind my asking, what are the types of media you used? This is a style that I am very much trying to acquire myself, but I can't seem to get that beautiful soft, smooth feeling of the colors against the dark outline. This is really spectacular!

@GBsNightmare Thank you!

@immortalights Thank you so much, and thank you for the question! The short answer is: graphite + colored pencil + marker + digital. I drew the graphite, colored the ladies using a mix of marker and colored pencil, hit the limits of my marker collection, scanned the piece, and finished painting it in Photoshop. I posted a scan of what the raw art looks like here for reference => https://inkpaperstring.com/weirds-of-the-meadow/
