The colors: alizarin crimson, phthalo blue and some kind of anonymous orange (not cadmium)
The first and not-exactly-like-in-the-book lesson from Learn to Paint in Watercolor with 50 Paintings by Wil Freeborn
Some food sketches for my uhm... food sketches class
Just like that unfinished look
I need to decide which one is going to be the final work as my first task for a lettering course i’m taking. Already hate them all - 3 sketches was too much
Critique is welcome

Nizhny Novgorod, Russia
Just have started a lettering course

An outdoor watercolor sketch
One sketch was made at the racing event and the other is backed on a picture. Didn’t help much, thiugh
It’s a very tranquil street. Also, an asylum behind the white wall. And a small and very quick sketch as well.
Had to start a new sketch to make it in full color and stuff. Again, like it as it is at this stage. No, not gonna create a third one.
Second digital sketch ever. Kinda better than both first one and third one.
It’s for a mini-challenge on Instagram. Too bad can’t take a better shot
It’s like the first «stand-alone” work (meaning not as a part of the lettering course). Btw I haven’t made it to the faux calligraphy lesson yet being stuck with the serifs. Used the tracing paper on top of the initial sketch.
P. S. As for the shovels: in Russia we have long holidays at the beginning of May and that’s when the whole gardening thing starts
