Binturong, a fluffy animal with even fluffier ears. Really mysterious if you ask me. I made a small comic of this, you can see more on Instagram. On a more serious note, binturongs are fascinating and also a vulnerable species, with a decreasing population (acording to the IUCN redlist). I do generally put pen (or some kind of tool), to paper (or some kind of surface), every day, but I'm really TRYING to do it purposefully in one singular location (journal). Here is a successful attempt from that particular day. I'm also super lazy, which means I never go up to my actual studio and only use what's out on my computer desk.

'Oh how wonderful life would be, if I had my own little house in a tree!' This one was created for the Urban Explorer Challenge and I loved every minute of it! As a lover of the natural environment I had to draw on where my heart lies so a treehouse seemed a fitting response!

I like it when I strike a nice combination of delicate features and bold marks. I suppose the simple palette helps in this case.

This is one of my recent drawings. It was fun to make details out of light and shadow.

'Queen of Marseille' I I have discovered a few unfinished sketches from my previous travels to France from few years ago. I decided to bring them back to life. I think before I didn't like them so much as I do now. My first lady of Marseille saying 'Salut' and I am slowely saying 'Goodbye' to the summer...
