Lora Sager Hello, my name is Lora Sager,
and I'm a doodle addict.
Minot ND Plus

An artist, a veteran, an active duty spouse, a home schooling mom, and a fur baby mom to two of the cutesy guinea pigs (Milli/Starlight). I have many titles but these are the main ones, and I love sharing my art with others. I'm just trying to get out there more with my art, instead of keeping it hidden away. Hope to sell online someday.

Rebirth

I was going through some old sketch books that marked 2024. I had completely forgotten about this guy. I did change his look a little. I added hair to him and took his horns off. But I had created him to be my demon or devil. I thought he had died, no he was just waiting.

Breaking Fast

Breaking Fast reflects a time when lingering was normal—an empty table, a cigarette’s glow, and the calm between what just ended and what comes next.

A Faux Eden

An illustration from my sketchbook. I used it as a header for a blog post I wrote here: https://substack.com/home/post/p-177688791 It's a warning about the mark of the beast. I recommend you to take a look!

Old sketch of a robo-dog

A few years ago I think I drew this using a photo of a dog for reference. Then I posted it in a robot community on Reddit and some random 3D printed it!

Christmas Art Contest 2023

I'm pretty sure I drew this in 2023 if I'm not mistaken. It was for a Christmas art contest at magma.com and drawn directly on their website using an iPad pro. And well although I met all the requirements I still didn't place in the top four. The rules stated that we had to pair up with another member from the website art community to draw a Christmas themed picture relating to anything from our childhood. What you see is only half the picture. My project-partner Andy added his portion to the collaboration, but I removed his pen strokes just for my website. That's why on the right side of the picture the Christmas tree and edge appear unfinished. This image is huge, like 5000 pixels. This website will resize the image losing details, but if you would like to zoom-in to a higher resolution, try this link to get a closer look. The Golden Calf

I made my golden calf in the arbour because it was a pagan place and a circle is always a good setting for sculpture. It was very difficult to get the legs to stay upright but in the end they did and I nailed them to the socle just to make sure. Sometimes I stood still, listening for the first rumble of the wrath of God. But so far he had said nothing. His great eye just looked right down into the arbour through the hole between the tops of the spruce trees. At last I had got him to show some interest. - Sculptor's Daughter by Tove Jansson #dailydrawing #tovejansson

Venti Ibuprofen Kind of Day

A hand-drawn illustration featuring a classic to-go coffee cup overflowing with ibuprofen pills instead of liquid. Perfectly capturing the essence of a rough morning, a long shift, or just the reality of "adulting.", text that reads: Venti Ibuprofen Kind of Day
