Lauren Konopacki's Faves

March 2018

Pens and paper on vintage photo.

Here is my submission to the 10th anniversary Plushform show at Rotofugi Gallery. I was invited by Shawn @shawnimals to participate in this fun show. He is the creator of the Plushform DIY plush figure being customized by 40 artists at Rotofugi, a designer toy store gallery in Chicago. The original Plushform show was in 2008. I was waiting for their official announcement before posting my final so I could link people to the site for more info. I was told they are working on it and will announce soon. This will be for sale at the show.

Drawn on my iPad

Start of a series of drawings exploring pattern. The more Garish the better :)

Today’s adventure took us to the KC City Market to sketch. We rode the streetcar to have lunch and draw. These are my sketches for the day.

A few sketches from the streets.

Sketchbook drawings and collage I made of a recent model session.

Part of the drawing a day challenge. A challenge I set myself......it's not easy!!

I've been inspired by my mother's smoking, one of my best friends' obsession over the rose ash color and the magic spirit of October.

Pens and pencils

Just tiger townspeople doing tiger things in town. Three-color marker challenge for myself lined with pink pen.

I wasn’t sure what to draw, so I just doodled what I had done so far.
