Hey there! I'm a self-taught artist, and I've loved painting, drawing, and doodling all my life. My art tends to lean towards a surrealist style, and I find it easier to speak through my art than using words. Take a look around, maybe you'll see something you like... A sketchbook drawing of the classical sculpture, The Wrestlers

I found this grouping quite challenging to draw. Also known as The Two Wrestlers, The Uffizi Wrestlers or The Pancrastinae. The sculpture is a Roman marble sculpture copy of a lost Greek original from the third century BCE. The piece is in the Uffizi collection in Florence, Italy.

Most evenings, I watch a couple of news programs streaming on my computer. During that time, I also make it a point to draw a person (usually from an on-line reference photo) with a No.2 yellow pencil (generally Ticonderoga) on whatever paper is handy on my desk. It's good practice and keeps my hands busy. These are some "News Doodles" done this past week.
