This is part of a series of postcards that I have been creating to mail to my mom everyday. She is in assisted living about 3 hours away so I can’t see her every day. I mail her the postcards to give her something to look forward to.

Don’t get caught here unawares… I don’t suggest you take the stairs. The treasure that this castle keeps, deep beneath the water sleeps. But if you’re patient with the tides, there’s another path it hides. Quickly now! Find the door! and hurry back onto the shore. For the moon, she will not wait to turn the tide and flood the gate. I started off with a circle on a big paper and somehow came to this, I really enjoy looking at this an I hope you do toooo.

The monsters we create A collection of creatures born from our impact and existance on Earth. This is a work in progress project, it doesn't yet have a name, but the story becomes more clear every day. Soon I will have more details about it, until then take care, this runner is taking a real shape and it's after you. Part of a tattoo project on going to build on a portfolio. Also art therapy in the later night owl hours when the mind wants to sketch but not to think :) A perfect subject here reflects that balance and time of peace
