This was part of a bigger study I'm currently in the midst of, with landscapes, water reflections and pinetrees for miles. Any and all feedback is very much appreciated.
Im trying to create some characters and work on worldbuilding, so often im drawing them in different environment to explore more about them, the universe they are in and the relationships between them. I actually should credit james firnhaber (check out his art its amazing) , his work was a direct inspiration for this one. I can even say more of a reference, but I love the result, so i'll just leave it here.
This is inspired by the expired stuff we find in the fridge more often than I’d like to admit. Plus I just had to draw sardines because my brain made me.
I always tell students to start a project with quick sketches to develop a shape language. Plus research, then you can start to generate ideas. This is one of who knows how many small sketches I'll do to start this project. #ideation #designsketches #pilo
The sketchbook doodle that turned into something special. To this day, it’s still one of my favourite drawings.
