46 I tried to go a different approach this time with my planets. I was tracing the circle and I said to myself wait a minute, it doesn’t have to be one planet they can be 2,3,4,5 planets if I wanted too, so I decided to just draw circle on top of the circle and then a smaller planets next to it just make it more interesting. I have all the space so I should be able to use it. I also did the same thing on another panel and then that’s pretty much it and you’ll see the rest of it tomorrow.

This is a mashup of art styles. I'm not even sure how to describe it. Started with the main mushroom that is outlined and then went crazy around it. Also experimented with water reflections a bit.

There's so much history to choose from. I feel that if we can add wizards to the middle ages, they should be everywhere else too. Also, all wizards in the seventeenth century wear scarves. It's a rule.

This is Digital Fairy, an OC of mine. She is 100% robotic, has a burnt receptor because of an incident and also has the power to create butterflies, so she doesn't feel alone.

Mostly wet on wet technique and then wet on dry for the white paint. I used a Mont Marte Round 2 brush and Reeves watercolor paint tubes. Also concocted my very own magic watercolor paint that made the black background somewhat similar to gouache. I learned this painting from one of the best artists named Maria Raczynska.

This is an adorable picture of a panda giving another panda a giant bouquet of flowers. The drawing was sketched with pencil, outlined with glitter pens, and mostly filled in with brush pens. Some details were filled in with the glitter pens also. Getting the flowers to look nice was not easy, but I think I just got away with it. Hope you enjoy the cute pair.

Whiteboard art! Its actually pretty challenging, mainly because you can't let your hand touch the surface (also I couldn't really figure out shading)

As awesome as summer and winter are, I love the transitional seasons the best, especially fall. It's the best time to do sports, orienteering, bird watching, hikes. The crisp air feels so good, and I love the rustle of the dead leaves and grasses on a windy day. While sometimes I get sad to see the branches bare, I also love looking at and analyzing their structure. I find it fascinating that a tree can go from this mighty, fluttering thing to a spindly, knobby structure and remain fundamentally unchanged. It's a bit of a miracle

The main reason of the threat and decrease of this small bird’s population is mainly because of ranching, agriculture and land development. The Meeting Bell Medium : Pen and Ink On Bristol Board Size : 11" x 15" Year illustration was completed : 1987 This illustration was part of a collection of pen and ink rendering i did for a christian mission, for their pamphlet that was published to inform the community, surrounding churches, and the military post near by, of the services they offered, and about their ranch. Their main ministry is to the military service personnel and their families. They offer a weekly dinner followed by a Bible study. They offer a place where service personnel could spend the weekend at the ranch for free, with meals included. There would also be activities they could partake in , such as going to concerts, going to amusement parks, visiting national park for picnics and hiking. The ranch holds retreat for military personnel who are in training, who want to learn about the Bible , and enjoy good home cooked food, rest, and out door recreation in the country. This ministry also lends it's facilities too near by churches, and to the military chaplaincy, for luncheons. This ministry is a great work of God, share God's word, and love through hospitality. About the bell. I call this illustration the meeting bell, because it sat right out side the activity center, and when ever a retreat was being held, the bell was use to let the guess know when a meal was being served, or a Bible study was about to begin. If you study the bell you can tell that at one time it must have been housed in some kind of church or fire house, by the big wheel attached to it's side, so it can be rung by a rope. Then when it found it's self at the ranch , they must have had a arm clacker manufactured, To strike the bell to sound.

Medium : Pen and ink on Bristol Board Size : 11" x 15 " Year illustration was done : 1987 This rendering of a broken down wagon, is part of a group of Pen and ink illustrations I did for a christian mission , for their pamphlet that was put together to imform the public about their services and ministry to the military members and their families. This mission reaches out to miltary through offering hospitality, Bible studies, holding retreats, and hosting luncheons for church groups. Military soldier who are in training also would come out to the rach to spend the weekend off post, to rest, learn the Bible , get home cooked meals, and enjoy out door recreation. I love working with this pencil. Although it is like a watercolor pencil, the tone is much more graphite like and it disolves nicely once I start using a brush. Using more or less water creates nice value range. I'm definitely a fan of this pencil--also comes in a medium and dark wash.

I just finished the Calandra Lark. Here are some facts about this beautiful bird... Appearance: It's a large lark, about 17.5-20 cm long, with a robust build, a heavy bill, and noticeable pale eyebrows . Its plumage is mainly greyish-brown streaked above and white below, with large black patches on the breast sides. Habitat: This species is found in open plains, steppes, pastures, and dry cereal cultivations. It's mainly resident in the west of its range but Russian populations migrate further south in winter. Diet: Their main food source is seeds, but they also consume insects when nesting. Behaviour: Calandra Larks are known to be gregarious outside the breeding season, often forming large flocks. Song: Their song is considered musical and slower than the Skylark's. It has been historically popular as a cagebird.

Watching a thunder storm roll in over the north cascades, it was super cool standing on the edge... For a little bit it was warm and sunny, and also hailing at the same time

This is a digital drawing of a species I came up with. This is also my first attempt of making a base. I'm very pleased with how it turned out and I plan to only get better. This is someone's OC I drew (the design is not mine. No stealing please.) It's also one of my first attempts at drawing a dragon-like creature. This one, I'm pretty proud of. However, I need practice on drawing scales. Getting them to look right is more difficult than I thought. Overall, super happy with this picture. I hope the image makes your day a little more magical.
