When out for a walk, I came across this lone standing tree. Sometimes that's enough to encourage perseverance!

Practicing drawing hats for my caricatures. Practice, practice, practice!

Oils on primed printmaking paper. 6x8 mini painting.

Delicious festive sodas and fun beverages! Just a quick sketch with markers—keeping it cheerful!

Christmas and New Year's Eve

I am a digital artist, and I just happened to stumble upon this art application, and I am very excited to share my artwork with y'all!

the full body of the two characters I like

Tried to experiment with various forms of pixel-art shading, and this was the end-result. (I wanted to emulate early video game graphics!)

Wanted to work with some color, felt like drawing clouds. Why not both? Made with Pixilart on my phone, doodled with my finger. Edit: This came out much more pale on my phone than I thought...I'll have to upload from my computer next time. :/

Graphite drawing of my grand parents in cape breton nova scotia around the year 1956.

More paper and pen.. I'm trying, really.

Ballpoint and colored pencil. 8.5"x11" sketchbook page

Fine tip black pen, 8.5" x 11"

A lot of my sketchbooks are empty and lacking color. I got more color pencils last christmas and colored one of my characters with almost every color i had.

And here it is: the full peacock recipe with instructions on how to make a beautiful Austrian apple strudel

Nothing to Something

A beetle. That parties. He has a party hat...and balloons.

Another pencil drawing from 2014. I had a long break from drawing and painting between 1994 and 2013. The arts teacher of my high school made me feel like shit and i decided to quit painting. At 36 years old I realized I missed it and started again by buying a set of pencils as a birthday gift to myself.

Il s'agit d'une fresque faite avec des animaux que j'ai rencontré durant mes stages de soigneur animalier Gris du Gabon, Cerf Sika, Renard roux et Raton laveur. Cela m'a pris un mois, j'en suis si fière. This is a fresco made with animals that I met during my training courses as animal caretaker Gabon Grey, Sika Deer, Red Fox and Raccoon. It take me a month, i'm so proud of it.

I bet it tastes delicious. Reference photo by Larissa Neto of Bakey Bakes. This is part of 2023 Draw With Me Challenge with Sarah Watts that I've been doing every now and then.

Paige is the smartest girl in seaside high but she still knows how to have fun! She loves ponies, drawing, and her best friend, Levi. Paige is aroace so don’t start fantasizing about then being together XD

I feel only positive emotions after drawing this landscape. It's a bit wintery, snowy, and magical. I love the background texture. But I still need to work on the details. Recently, I discovered the miraculous power of gouache. I ordered paints a few days ago (still waiting for the shipment). That's why there are only digital versions for now. I have already purchased a course on the Domestika platform. I'm going to try my skills at traditional painting on paper. It will be a big challenge. Fortunately, I have a great teacher :) Thanks, Ruth Wilshaw, for your Domestika course and daily inspiration to create! Day 6 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.

A simple and quick digital sketch. A triangle, a small rectangle, a couple of light pastel colors, and a gray background. Created in Krita.

Created for my Grandma. Background done with watercolor. Knot drawn with gel pens. Swarovski crystals added for "flair."
