A second tree animal in my current series of micron pen drawings

This animal is in the family Theridiidae, a large group (over 2000 species) of haphazard web-builders.

It is a sketch on a sleeping cat.

This week an inquisitive kitty is my subject. It's done in 2B and 4B graphite pencil on Canson Sketch Pad paper. The reference was a ZETA stock photo.

I stated with a rough pencil sketch then inked it with a brush pen and colored it with watercolor and gouache on a watercolor postcard. Reference I used was this excellent photo - https://www.pexels.com/photo/tree-wild-squirrel-monkey-97827/ photo by Mike from Pexels.com

Frog, moon and stars! Another one inspired by @moonchildillustrations and her #moontoberweekends prompt, this one combines two of them. Fortunately, I had to search for really cute pictures of frogs with their mouths open. By the way, what kind of music do you think the flies are dancing to? : .

It was absolutely necessary that I sit still and paint today and here are the unfinished results so far.

Rat Sketch Study

I’ve been going through a bit of an art slump lately, but I finally got myself to pick up the pencil and finish this. My reference photo was a bit grainy so had some trouble with that, but overall I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. Done in graphite, drawing itself is about 5x6 in
