6” x 4” ink & dice on paper 2018

Created with PH Martin’s India ink and mission gold watercolors

Another doodle realised for my personal 100 Days Project. Doodle inspired by an Arctic Monkey song.

Sometimes I like to take ink splats and try to figure out what they are. Could there possibly be anything better than "crab dab"?

One of my submissions for "the rhinos are coming".

Geometric drawing of my buddy Zorro.

This is my friend "shar" that is always there for me as a child in Africa living in those round huts. I could talk to him, share my moments of joy, sorrows, pain, and confusion. Anywhere I go he is always there with me, he is my angel.

Jar Head Scratchboard.

Noodlers bullet proof black with Copic marker

Patternbank is a large company who sell seamless patterns, mine too. They have nice mock ups, like this dress. The motif is a flower bouquet in a pot with geometric patterns.

Just something I drew in my sketchbook.

An illustrated poem I did as part of my drive to learn Korean. I did this, along with 40 plus other illustrated poems, in my notebook. Here is an English translation of the poem: : High Pine Close to the brook I'm looking at a high pine High pine I want to talk to you Many questions I have How many people have you seen? How many sunny days have you seen? How many rainy days have you seen? How many people's voices have you heard? How many birds' songs have you heard? High pine can you hear me? High pine can you hear me? High pine do you have any good stories? High pine do you have any good stories I will listen well Really Really Really

Just a sort of character idea sketch/doodle.

Another throwback of doodle on starbuck cup. Done long time ago.

Pen and watercolor piece made for #100DaysofGeometricAnimals in #The100DayProject

Colorful watercolor leaves

An old sketch from somewhere around 2008. Done with markers, ink and posca.

Mabel - pen and ink illustration, part of the decorative hare series

Colorful Goldfish - Another watercolor sketch from my newest sketchbook. I'm using Strathmore Mixed Media 300 Series (5.5 in x 8.5 in). It has 40 sheets of 90 lb. vellum surface paper. They cost under $10 and can be used for most anything including wet media (light washes) without the paper falling apart or warping badly. One of the best all purpose sketchbooks I've found and the size makes it easy to toss in a backpack and carry daily. Anyway, just wanted to share my good experience with the group. What's your favorite sketchbook brand/format?

Cutie-pie with rosy cheeks

My sketchbook spread. This is actually a moleskin watercolor album which I'm mostly using to draw from life. This is sharp and spiky versus soft and fluffy. The models were the two of my house plants, and aim was a texture and light study.
