This is a digital rendering of a drawing I have recreated several times. The original was a doodle done in high school and has since been done as a painting, a tattoo design, and now as digital art. My inspiration was 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', classic cartoons (Woody the Woodpecker), and pinup art styles.
I liked her so much I drew her again, but I learned some things about her. (Damn those hands, gotta work on them.) Concept art

Race: Demon (Father is a demon, mother human)
Ethnicity: Her mother was a young Italian woman who was tricked into falling in love with a demon.
Status: Sorceress
Abilities: She wields a staff that consumes souls of the living. She uses those souls to feed her power.
Extra (for now): The globe on her staff is an ancient artifact in which she had to prove her will and strength to achieve it. The artifact draws out the souls of her victims. But before it does, it puts them in a trance like state to keep them immobilized.
DAY ONE OF INTENSIVE ART TRAINING! Okay, back up, calm down... So! A little background. I am going into INTENSIVE ART TRAINING because I'm not the best at drawing humans. I want to get better so I can draw people, characters, and find my style. There will be 50 days, and this is day one. This drawing came from an old sketchbook from middle school. This "trend" I guess you could call it, came from the movie "I saw the TV glow". Which is a movie that's a metaphor for trans identities and other queer identities.
