These patterns are all made from drawings pulled from my 2017 sketchbook project. I studied fiber arts in grad school and learned how to do repeat patterns - the old fashioned way by cutting and taping paper together... I haven't done any in 25 years - until this month!
Random and quick angel design (not an OC) In my world building angels look either extraterrestrial,humanoid or similar to a cyborg (this one however doesn't look like either of those hence it's only a random design)a lot of them do wield weapons and wear armor (like a few high ranking demons would,mainly in war) They're not the typical blonde blue-eyed angels that look like people.majority of them hide their faces in armor (since they're too pure to reveal their own faces)and most of them don't have any wings or share any body parts people have (legs,feet,arms,fingers,noses,ears hair etc)it's best for the angels to be diverse in appearance like the demons (I also hate the idea of demons being red-skinned,having goat legs and having that pointy arrow tail) I don't know if I will ever draw my version of angels since clearly I prefer drawing demons,it may be really fun or really complex.
He dies with the honor of his ancestors, among the trees, not strung up on a dead one like his brothers or forced to work like a slave as his sisters. He dies a proud alf. This piece was done with watercolour crayons, crayons, fineliner, acrylic paint and a touch of posca. I was showing that love can be blind and sometimes almost arrogant and selfish, the arrow has hit the spot on the second attempt but the scars are still to be seen. Although the person playing cupid aint always an outside force. I enjoy playing with the titles and am constantly changing and thinking of what it will be called when doing the piece, but i do like my wordplay. this one was a play on horticulture and felt it all tied in to the final design :))

Whenever I think of tags and/or labels for people, be it things like ‘gammons’ or ‘snowflakes’ et al, narrowing it down to a single person who represents that group is always running a fool’s errand in my opinion.
