Rabbits thorns and moons. I usual don’t know where I’m going when my pen touches down. The illustration took me for a ride and I’m not gonna lie. I kinda enjoyed it. As it progressed, it felt like an album cover so why not?

From when my 16 yo daughter was struggling with heroin addiction. My doodles have gotten me through some very hard times. Art as therapy, I always say.
Early days on a new mandala-like shape drawing on 14"x17" paper. A technique I sometimes use for drawings like this is to use pencil, compass, and ruler to get some lines down. Then I freehand over the pencil lines with pen, which gives it more of an organic look. Once I have the empty shapes down, it'll be time to fill *inside* the shapes, connecting the interior parts at the edges for neighboring shapes, which gives the illusion of continuity (and depth) behind the dividing lines. (There's also the option to do the reverse at this point, in which the shapes are left empty inside and the opposite space is filled in; if you search through my drawings you'll see some like this. But more often than not, I prefer the former method.)
The front cover of my first published novel titled "The Gissionary", which was originally published on 1/4/2025 on ComicFury.Com. It is a nonfictional novel that serves as a quick dictionary of my own original words, terms, and phrases that I either coined myself or helped popularize, the former especially with my own original word coining method called "Grammatical Idea Simplicity (GIS)".
First published on Doodle Addicts on 10/7/2026.

King Eric's privy council had convinced him the Royal Lyre and the Divination Bones would allow him to bend the Thorn Blade to his will. King Eric hadn't known his privy council hated him.
