This is a black-and-white revision of an illustration I made (hand-drawn) for an American Red Cross e-newsletter years ago. The original was in color; however, considering my current work is predominantly black and white, I thought it appropriate to update the illustration for my portfolio. © 2007-2018 Joe Blend. This was done for my first Scrawlr Box challenge. Which I was super excited to finally get to try, and I loved the supplies that were in the box. I am really happy with how this has turned out, it brings the two things I really like together; deer antlers and flowers.

This doodle depicts a transitional phase in my college years. Illustrating one of my favourite rappers, drinks, snacks and one of the iconic buildings in London; this doodle is full of colours varying in throughout the page and popping out with contrast.

A sketch, but I was hoping for true feedback. I know I definatly still have a long way to go, but how could I improve? Thank you for your time!

This shambling creature haunts the fetid marshlands and is a protector of the birds and beasts who reside there. He's ancient, the last of his kind and a gentle soul who would much rather hide under the sticky mud than come face to face with a stranger.
