Lo-fi inspired art. Used one of my favourite albums from hanni el khatib in the drawing. I have been traveling so it's been hard to find the time to draw but I'm glad I managed to finish this one.
Glaucomys sabrinus, northern flying squirrel has belly fur that is gray at the base. Flying squirrels might more appropriately be called “gliding squirrels” because they aren’t capable of true powered flight that a pterosaur, a bird or a bat can do. Watercolour and coloured pencil on watercolour paper. Usually I paint on watercolour paper that costs about 3$ for a pad with 10 sheets. This was the first time I painted on paper that costs about 1$ per sheet. And yes, it DOES make a difference. :D
ya'know, i make more than a few of these, numbers aren't so important, this guy is just another living being who has lost their way. They're chosen to turn away from the gods and civilized society and toward hell, evil, anarchy, death, and other misdeeds. We all fall, but some of us don't get back up, we just linger in our darkness and drag others down to us. It is truly an ugly thing, with many remedies, however, some of them are far too fatal to speak of here ...
