This is a very early doodle from Astronomy class (that is once again oriented wrong on here for goodness knows what reason). Just the first thing I drew this year. Already started altering it but this is a photo of the original drawing.

Some of these started out as illustrations of masks and developed bodies or other characteristics.

This drawing was made in a black paper, that at first, I had no idea what to draw. So I took some colored pencils that I like, and started to randomly stroke the paper. Then I realised that it looked like a galaxy, so I added a few stars, the Saturn planet, and afterwards, Wall·E and Eva.

Freehand drawing gifted to a friend. Started as an idea, but the pencil went into autopilot once started.

Earth and Moon. Gel Pens and Arteza brush pens, 8" x 11" Sketchbook paper.

I got my first client for logo design and they asked for a custom watercolor illustration of Iris flower. So I researched about iris flower and did a rough sketch. From there, I started rendering color using a special brush from GrutBrushes.

Done with dip pen and black Talens Indian ink. The dip pen is very old, 1967, I used it at school when I was 10. The next year we started to use fountain pens. Only the nib I used was ofcourse new.

Progression image 5 of 6. 11x14 Marker paper, Medium Graphite Pencils (asst. B-5B). Here the drawing started to come together. I used a metal tip to a mechanical pencil and dragged it along the paper to create the highlight effects in her hair. It is effective but irreversible, so I don't do it very often.

Started as a doodle of a friend then I decided to have fun with it and this is its current state. Drawing on these large papers is kinda intimidating to a beginner artist like me lol. any opinions, questions, or advice would be amazing thanks..

I went to the museum and started sketching some of the masks and things that were in there..

This painting/ drawing is started in the Abstract with forms created organically. I used Acrylics and applied them liberally as you might use in watercolor techniques. I love challenging myself to create in this form, as I do in finding the figures which may form themselves in the process. I then detail the figures in a drawing style to enhance and bring it forward. my first ever piece of art i sold was this piece, i think around 2012 when i started going into more illustrative based work. its great to look back and see the progression and level i have progressed. i remember thinking this was the best i could do but now if i did something on the same level i wouldnt be so happy. i got a lot of good feedback off this piece and do plan on recreating it one day :))...

Just a little something I’ve started working on.

Made from tracing the shadow of my hand holding my pencil. An for some reason Pearl Jam started playing in my head.

This sketch started as a boredom buster. I tend to doodle eyes often, but occasionally those eyes become a face or in this case, become a person. ☺
