I decided to draw a teddy bear today I try to draw the inseam of the sewing of the bear on top of its eyes but now it kind of just looks angry, mistake made less than learned
Happy feast of St. John of the Cross, one of the doctors of the church. Well known for his work on the "Dark night of the Soul" which is different than "Spiritual Desolation" that St. Ignatius talks about. We all have our crosses to bear but we don't always see the fruit. It's a fitting day for me as I got a big cross today but with God's grace I can support it. Please pray for my healing of headaches and depression, they are really getting in the way. St. John of the Cross, pray for us.

Claire here with another species I designed! This is a digital drawing of what I call a Gormadon. It's likeness is most like a bear, but it has spikes and frills kind of like a dragon or dinosaur. I imagine this species to be quite big if it were real. Perhaps about the size of an adult elephant. Another one for MightCouldDrawToday! This week is Bears and I drew a cute bear from a photo reference I found. Lined with a Tombow Fudenosuke marker and colored with my Derwent Inktense Pencils. My sketchbook really can't handle the water! >.
