I have been making a lot of thank you cards lately and I thought I’d share. Haven’t had a ton of experience with watercolor lately, but I find the best way to get back into using a medium is using it on small projects and gradually working up to bigger pieces.

I bought a set of 3 Bic multi-color ballpoint pens, a total of 10 colors including black, and a new sketchbook. Playing around with what colors and effects are possible, I'm excited to do more stuff with these pens. The colors didn't perfectly reproduce between the photo and JPEG compression. But I love how the upper left section is all done with the one dark blue, green, and red pen.

Sonic Boom was a decent, self-aware show; though I may be giving it extra points for having a rare Fawlty Towers reference lol. Also a rare drawing I did straight digitally as opposed to drawing on paper first. Still prefer paper. Old habits die hard!

It's a perfect day to read a book written by your friend. My friends book right now is "Projections" by S. Porter. Her book is so good! It is dark and fascinating and so well researched. An amended version now framed - A Superb Male Fairy Wren (Malurus Cyaneus) with its full plumage and is available with transparent background to suit many merch products. The Superb Fairy-wren was one of the first Australian birds to be described. Male Superb Fairy-wrens have been labelled as 'the least faithful birds in the world'. Females may be courted by up to 13 males in half an hour.

When I moved into my first apartment, I knew I wanted to create my own wall art. So like any Potterhead artist, I binged Harry Potter movies and painted for many hours straight. This painting is part of a three piece set featuring my favorite plants painted on a soft gradient background. This 8”x10” acrylic painting is made on pre-stretched canvas.
