I've started a new sketch book (one of many, lol), which I am dedicating to ink drawings only. No pencils, no watercolours, just pen and ink :) I drew this doodle today with a Uniball pen and a light ink wash for the space sky. No reference, totally made up. Mistakes and all! A friend of mine asked if I would draw her family in a star wars scene. She wanted to surprise her husband for father's day. Drawing the human form of Chewbacca was surprisingly difficult. I made their dog a sith lord because "She's an evil bitch". Overall, it was a fun piece
This shambling creature haunts the fetid marshlands and is a protector of the birds and beasts who reside there. He's ancient, the last of his kind and a gentle soul who would much rather hide under the sticky mud than come face to face with a stranger.
I'm happy to have finished this illustration. It took me a lot longer than I expected. I couldn’t help but add more and more details to the point that sometimes I lost my motivation to finish it, but i did it. :D

Moleskine Doodle - March 2014
It seemed as if the dark that year would never end, and by March we saw a glimmer, it was such a relief. Bit like how we feel now.

(black biro on 74mm x 105mm card) When there were more pubs, you'd see many a wandering drunk around the streets at chucking out time. Zombie-like beings with only a strange homing-pigeon instinct left as intelligence.

Climbing ladders, jumping fire all to make that princess mine!
