The implementation of the project for the Akademos kindergarten in Poznań has ended. The idea behind the project was to create a jungle staircase in which children will be able to cover something new every day while walking down the corridor. Many animals, reptiles, and insects are hidden in the thicket of plants. So that the number of details and small elements does not overwhelm the space, we used a black and white combination with small colorful accents, which are also to stimulate the imagination of children. Realistically painted birds are an additional decorative element, which can be a background for photo sessions.

This species is part of the Accipitridae bird family, which diverged from all other species of bird 49.6 million years ago during the Paleogene period. Vultures split from the other genera in this family 12.7 million years ago. This species is highly sensitive to land-use and is concentrated to protected areas. Individuals were marked with patagial (wing) tags in Fouta Djallon vulture sanctuary to monitor movements and for a toxicological assessment of the vulture population of the park. Botanical Hawk Design I drew for my former junior college alumni banquet. They had it printed on a giant canvas for people to color. It started out as a small doodle and transpired into something else. ha ha. Made this with Sakura Micron Ink ( 01 and 005) on Bristol with Digital Editing to finish.
This was a bird that escaped from the local zoo and turned up in my neighbourhood. A few volunteers managed to capture it and return it but before they did they managed to get some great photos. It was the insipiration for this drawing. I think it is an african starling.
