Part of a series called Geometric Animals

Day 1: yourself. This is my personal project #DoodleWithRin365 that I am working now. It is a journey of self development in creativity and encourage myself to explore as many things as possible. I have focused a lot in detailed architecture last 2 years and really enjoyed those crazy detail lines. This year, I would like to explore something different. In this project, I decide on those themes by myself which will be included things I like and also things that I have never tried before but would like to know more. Back to my works here, I used Pilot new brush pen to completed the outline on my sketchbook and the wording with tablet. For second version, I used my real lipstick for lips :)

A wee sketch of a feather I found, painted with watercolours on Stillman & Birn Zeta paper.

I did this when I was suffering from artist block. Surprised it came out so good but I was just doodling on the page and making shapes.

Favorite words. Gloaming. Dusk. For some reason, makes me think of the opening to Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll ’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.

A3 The fish (scale- and eyeless) swam into a motley selection of patterns filled into a scribble/string. Done with graphic pens and watercolour pencils blended with water.

The monsters we create A collection of creatures born from our impact and existance on Earth. This is a work in progress project, it doesn't yet have a name, but the story becomes more clear every day. Soon I will have more details about it, until then take care, this runner is taking a real shape and it's after you. It All Starts To Blend Together.

Outside my drawing table window are straight and weeping birches. We lost one of the birch trucks and, tragically, a beautiful OLD Japanese maple during an ice storm a few years ago. The third trunk is still in my mind's eye.
