This was a little colouring experiment. I used a different method from what I usually do, but it turned out great. The result is pretty satisfying for me, considering this only took me about two hours :) There's certainly room to improve, but that's what I am here for ^-^ Please enjoy! - Crypto

Pen and ink

Digitally made pattern of gingko biloba leaves using the sketch on my last post as a starting point.

This doodle is named for what it's painted on. I had a theory that Cheerio box cardboard would take well to watercolors, and I was right! I took my Cultural Safari sketchbook class to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art today. My sketch of The Virgin and Child, ca. 1350, France, Limestone Sculpture.

Another class assignment. We had to draw the Farnese Hercules' gratuitously muscled torso 4 times from different angles and with different light sources. We had thirty minute time limits. I thought I was going to lose my mind. Medium: Charcoal on newsprint. Time: 30 minutes x 4.

This comic came out of a conversation I’m having with a friend. We both found it fascinating that so many comedians and creatives come from broken and dark places.
