Even though I went to art school, I’ve never stopped continuously learning. This sketch was a study on value in sketching. Book was borrowed from a local library.
I have alot of other hand drawing artworking but as a basic member i can only post 1 of them each day, more coming soon. This artwork is made with notebook paper and a pen with high lighter. I don't know why it went upside down xd
I saw someone else on Doodle Addicts doing really great bookmarks and I remembered that last winter, when I couldn't seem to do anything else creative, I made a bunch of bookmarks. It's a way of trying out things, and using fun media like these glitter pens I inherited.
I'm really enjoying this site so far. This was just a little practice tree; i wanted to try out a different design style....i think it turned out interesting. Tell me what you think! I would greatly appreciate any feedback on my art, comments, tips, etc.
I use to draw to create. Now, when I do, it's to speak to myself. To relieve some tension. To say something I can't say out loud. I'm not looking for anything here. I just hope that throwing these things out into the world will somehow take them off of my mind. Sorry, and thank you.
Legends and folklore is huge in Game of Thrones book series, one in particular is the legend of ‘Azor Ahai’, the warrior who drove the darkness away with his sword Lightbringer. How he forged the sword to bring the end in darkness was by plunging it into his wife’s heart. her soul and the hot blade created Lightbringer. A new ‘Azor Ahai’ was supposed to come again and many believe it to be either Daenerys Targaryen or Jon Snow.

I think end the end it’s Jon Snow if the prophecies were interpreted this way- the ‘long night’ being Daenerys mad reign. A more detailed explanation can be found on distractify.com!
