Hey everyone, sorry for such a long hiatus! The main reason is that I haven't been drawing so I had nothing to post. I also went through a name change, from BurningCinders to Umbra! For this piece, I played around with some new brushes and attempted to play with fog for the first time.

Whew! Baby yoda was fun to draw and gave me an excuse to get familiar with some of these brushes. The original sketch had a special guest, so you might see this one pop up again in the future. Hope you like him! .

Inktober day 2 really late. I honestly forgot I started to post here and I only get one post a day so we’re just gonna be really behind

Went off a different prompt list today because I really wanted to draw something chill. Also I wanted to do some reference pose practice. PIntrest is a god send for trying to figure out how body's move. XD. This one is much more simple since I wasn't too focused on finishing the full color. Instead I played around with a few of my drawing programs tools. Tried to use its coloring mask, patterns, and texture brushes to get a simple yet readable mood.

Adobe just released a new drawing and painting app Fresco for the iPad. Here are few experimental images. I have to say I am impressed with the natural media brushes and the interface.

UPDATE: I was working on this illustration a while back, but I had no spare time and had to put it aside. The composition was too busy, but now I think it looks a little better. I made a few major changes, like: • Made adjustments to light sources • Created bolder outlines • Got rid of the Knight reading over the dragon's shoulder

Recently acquired a new inking brush and I'm totally in love with it~~ uwu Testing out a chibi line art of Squall from FF8, since the remaster came out not too long ago.

Some drawings from a figure drawing meetup. The model had some very interesting poses ;). I used a Pendel brushpen for the drawings.

I'm actually really proud of this one, especially for the feather. I had made almost every individual line using the Flat Brush in FireAlpaca (10/10 would recommend) but it was fun putting all my effort into one piece.

A rererework I finally liked. Opinions are welcome. Done with Kuretake brushes and gel pens. I used a photo from Girli as a reference.
