This is the third post so far on Doodle Addicts....and i'm really enjoying this site so far. I'm thinking about starting to post some creatures as well as these landscape type doodles. Tell me what you think! I would greatly appreciate any feedback on my art, comments, tips, etc.
Second post here on Doodle Addict. I don't know why but this reminds me of Spirited away....or just studio Ghibli. All their art just makes me feel like i'm actually in that place; i can feel the breeze, hear and feel the grass.....Anyways, that's the image i get in my head when making this. Feel free to give feedback or comment on my art, i would appreciate it!
Painted as my final project for my Painting Environments course. I was super nervous about tackling this one, but learned a ton taking this course. I'm happy to move on to the next one. :-)
Ironwood Forest

- Forest full of massive trees
- Implied path
- River rambling through tree roots
- Waterfall

(HB pencil - 38mm x 20mm) A very small (and yes, those sizes are in millimetres!) example of a dreamscape piece taken from an A6 sketch-booklet I made. I chose this one from it to display here because it turned out so insane.

Epic Valley Project parameters:
- Hugh, expansive valley with mix of grassy and rocky terrain
- Haunting, dramatic sky with rays of light beaming
- Stone formations
This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. I attached the progess photos of this painting from sketch to final piece
