Spring contest sketch 1

This super unflattering self portrait comes with a good reason. I bought a magazine about watercolor painting today, thinking looking at beautiful pictures in bed would calm me down before sleep. Didnt happen! An invitation to a spring-themed contest was announced, putting my brain to work in high speed. After 3 hours i gave up sleeping and started some preparation work. Draping my head in a scarf, filming myself in the worst possible angle and making a rough sketch was first step. Hopefully i can get some sleep now.

Digestion and Discretion

We take things in and digest them before regurgitating them or expelling them again through our being. This is true of many aspects of our reality, not just of caloric intake. We take things in through the senses, through the person. We digest with our intellect and with our perception. Then we are able to share that back out through the senses, through our behaviours, and through our being. Food builds our body even as our experiences build our character. The real mark of a mature human being is developing deeper levels of discretion and recognizing more intimate forms of subtlety. Not everyone likes grapes, but to condemn grapes as evil is not prosperous to our species. Some like cherries, but not all enjoy their flavour. Grapes and cherries are still nutritious even though some have allergies to them. And not all cherries and grapes are ripe and nutritious at all times in all places. We must carry this knowledge into the development of our judgement. If it is important and worth while to discuss food and material nutrition, then it is much more essential that we evolve a greater sense of discretion for experience and for the holistic palette of our physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual tongues. We do that through consumption and digestion. But be aware that a human being can not live on grapes and cherries alone. We should also do our best to not condemn the taste buds or stomachs of ourselves or others. Namaste.

Rudeus character when angry.

This character is well known and has appeared many times in various comics and cartoons. The character I created has a face that contains a lot of sadness and is sometimes very ghostly. Many compliments to the author for creating this mysterious and magical character. ------------------------------ The work was created by Luu Hoang Phuc and posted on December 3, 2012 and the work was exclusively posted on two platforms Facebook and Doodle Addicts. I created this piece yr 2016 as portfolio to get into a company doing sketch card art, but by asking some sketch card artists on this site about how much you get paid for doing this sketch card art`and it was so ridiculous that I decided to not send this portfolio piece to the trading card company also you have to give up your original artwork to the company cuz they need to put this sketch card art in the pack of trading cards so lucky buyer will get the original sketch card that is the idea. For how much they paying the artists for giving up their original art did not make any sense to me . Done 2016 with color pencil and ink on 2.5 x 3.5 bristol. It is sketch card. Original art $20+s/h and I am open for commission using color pencil or lead pencil for original artwork. Sizes range from 8.5x11, 9x12, 11x14, 11x17. The Commission rate starts from $20 and up. Paperclips mountain by Jaffa Meir

The materials that Meir uses in her works are not of the refined and so she is called an “arte povere” artist. At times she describes her work as someone dealing in alchemy - work develops as in a trial laboratory with different techniques and materials. She says, “ at times the artistic work process is a sort of puzzle demanding the filling in of all the empty squares “. Some of her work focuses on women, and they incorporate criticism and cultural protest. Meir has strong opinions about recycling and environmental protection that is represented in her works by use of materials and shapes. In her work she reacts to contemporary art that communicates with the eco system, waste, and she also searches for different worlds. Her works are made up of layers upon colorful layers that when we look at them it becomes clear that the mound of waste she chose is not coincidental. It actually becomes a colorful kaleidoscope of utopia. Jaffa Meir is a multifaceted, autodidact artist working in painting, sculpture, photography, product design, carpets and furniture, painting on textile, and computer graphics. The structural composition of some of the works is influenced also by her many years of working in the architects’ office. Meir also worked in the developing of ideas within the field of ecosystems and recycling for factories such as Coca Cola, and during this process came up with ideas for designing parks and public game spaces using industrial waste products.

Woman in the shirt by Larisa Leah Dizlarka | ArtCraftLand

"The painting ""The Girl in a Shirt"" is one of the paintings series ""Her"".The artwork is painted in oil on canvas with wide textured strokes of a brush and a palette knife. In the work, we can see the opposition of a gentle female image and deliberately careless aggressive rough strokes of paint. The artist plays of black and white hard contrast against delicate pastel colors. The girl depicted in the painting feels constrained by external conditions, which prevents this painting from having an erotic value. The girl nervously tries to unbutton her shirt in order to get more air and freedom. Her pose is not balanced, which shows even more uncertainty and indecision. That's why this artwork is considered rather dramatic."

Alanzo

He may seem like a mobster but he's a greedy, sleazy, impatient boss.he is the owner of the snazzy bar and Alamea's brother.he has a thick new jersey or Italian accent.he out of all the ghost OC's doesn't have much of a personality although he does become more sympathetic later on.he was reluctant on hiring Al but eventually hired him.their relationship grows steady, Alanzo then becomes fond of Al especially when he found his true talent (being a magician) he has his hair fringes resembling devil horns because most of the time his behavior is devilish.
