In celebration of Year of the Tiger, I illustrated this Tiger with vector shapes and then shades the shapes with a variety of pixel brushes. Then I doodled some abstract brush strokes as the background with a red and gold color theme.
Scykoh is one of my favorite YouTubers. He plays Pokemon a lot, and his videos about Pokémon Glitches are very entertaining. Like his Gen 1 Glitch Quest, or his collab with A+Start on catching a Celebi via glitches. His sense of humor is so immature, and I love it. Drawn with FireAlpaca. I love how these nesting dolls came out. I'm also into the Dakota Fanning inspired piece on the left. Dakota's character in The Alienist is a lot of fun. I'm glad she seems to have come out of child acting fairly unscathed. We don't hear a lot of stories of her gallavanting around LA, thieving & putting substances up her schnoz. That's a pleasant change of pace for a celebrity.
Happy Imbolc to all who celebrate it :-) Spent today with some friends designing seed packets for planting various flowers, vegetables, you name it… although this will inevitably house more Washi tape in my case!
These are birthday creatures created in a lab to help celebrate. They come with a confetti aura and built in party horns. They are optimized for maximum fun, but frighten very easily.

In the Finnish mythology killing of a bear was followed by a great feast in honour of the bear (peijaiset), where a substantial part of the celebrations consisted of convincing the bear's spirit that it had died accidentally and hadn't been murdered. Afterwards, the bear's skull was hung high upon a pine tree so its spirit could re-enter the heavens. The bones of the bear were then buried under the pine.
A fairly special one for me this week, as today’s post is inspired by what would have been the time of Beltane celebrations. As it is, we celebrated at home in our own little ways, and in the case of myself indulging in my usual habits! Drinking and of course drawing, the usual stuff...
