My son gave me a sketch challenge - Scooby Doo. So, I decided to add Kirk, Spock, Arex and some tribbles from Star Trek: The Animated Series.

Created using pencils, fine liners, water color, and acrylic paints. A Ghoulish cheerleader ripped from her life too soon, murdered by jealousy, with the those she thought were her friends torn in anguish over her death, she now takes this form to rid others of their dreams and ambitions.

This is a new logo I created for my Webtoon, The Peculiar Scribble. It is about Scribble and his adventures in a place called, The Realm. Scribble is a heartwarming comic that is suitable for all ages. My submission for the Doodle Addicts album cover challenge. Thank you so much for the votes, I appreciate them all! Here's the original description for the submission: Future you calling is a group that mixes electronic pop and rock with some vintage and retro vibes thrown in the mix. To Whom It May Concern is their newest album. It's like that strange record that you once found on the slightly shady flea market that closed down after one month. You wish you had bought it back then, so now is your chance to repair the damage and get this album instead. It's almost the same. We promise. (Future you calling is an invented band. I'm not musically skilled enough to make the band reality but I can always imagine how their albums would look like if existed. From Sketch to Final Water Coloring Stages, this is a spread from Tide Day! A lot goes into making a good composition, taking into account the center of the image where the binding is, and how to play with size and negative space. One of my favorite things to do is explore contrasting expressions between characters and highlight their emotions through physical stances and expressions. This was a tough challenge with the lack of limbs and the watery context, but Pearl's stubbornness and attitude shines through!

OC CHALLENGE DAY 3

Hi guys! LOoong time no see. But, thanks to #inktober, I'm here :) My friend offered me to participate this year challenge with #witchyprops, which I find lovely, so here it is: The book of shadows!

Backgrounds used to be my least favorite part of painting, but now im having fun trying out different textures and patterns. Having a strickt 12 color limit adds to the challenge and makes it feel like a puzzle.

I wanted to challenge myself to draw something which is anatomically hard. I chose Breakdance as subject because it had been my passion for 16 years but I had to put an end to it due to my chronic injury.

These thoughts are in my mind daily. I take care of my 91 year old father. I'm certain he has dementia but I can't get his doctor to diagnose him. He can easily pass a competency test, even though he is no longer competent. My mind is messy, to say the least.

Class assignment: draw a crowd with layers and overlapping. I took this class because it is my artist heart's desire to capture people in real life action. We did learn a technique for that, but we did it from video. It was so stressful, and I'm considering practicing that 10 min a day for Lent. This one was a compilation from photos my teacher provided. What are your tips for capturing people in action? For me, the challenge was deciding what the action was. I kept changing the action as I saw it because it is SO FAST. I felt like I couldn't "see" fast enough.

Critter is the main character who discovers the challenges that life can throw at us, but its who he meets along the way that makes it an adventure. Untold will be a story of challenges, growth, friendship and more.

maureen_machine's DTIYS challenge is definitely a fun/interesting character... But not easy!

I think they had a disagreement... (my friends and I like to challenge each other to draw random little scenarios like this...try it, it's pretty fun!)

To help pass time and keep my creativity at the front of my brain, I keep a half sheet handy and challenge myself to fill the page with lines, shapes and shadows before the shift is over. Never a theme planned I let the pen take me on its own adventure. I’m just a passenger.
